Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Sidescene, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Sidescene
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others
- You may delete your account at any time from the app settings
What You Can Do
- Connect your Google Calendar to automatically surface social events
- Add events manually to share with approved friends
- Send and accept friend requests to build your private network
- Share your profile link with others so they can request access
What You Cannot Do
- Use Sidescene for any unlawful purpose
- Post content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' privacy
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages
Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you add to Sidescene. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content to your approved friends as intended by the app. We do not claim ownership of your calendar data or events.
Privacy
Our use of your data is described in our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Third-Party Services
Sidescene integrates with Google Calendar (subject to
Google's Terms), Apple Sign In, and Branch.io for deep linking. Your use of these features is also subject to the respective provider's terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Sidescene at any time. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Sidescene is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
